[배드민턴코리아] KGC인삼공사와 강원도홍천교육지원청이 배드민턴 학교 체육 활성화를 위한 업무제휴협약서(MOU) 계약을 체결했다.
6월 12일, 강원 홍천군 홍천교육지원청에서 진행된 협약식에는 KGC인삼공사 민경성 실장, 홍천교육지원청 홍병식 교육장 등이 참석했다.
이번 업무제휴협약을 통해 양 기관은 강원 홍천 지역 배드민턴 종목의 학교 체육 활성화를 위해 힘쓸 것을 다짐했다. 앞으로 홍천군내 학교와 지역 사회는 KGC인삼공사가 운영하는 배드민턴 플랫폼, ‘랠리25’의 활동(배드민턴 레슨 프로그램 및 실업 경기 관람 등)에 적극적으로 참여할 예정이다.
KGC인삼공사 민경성 실장은 "배드민턴은 생활체육 제1종목으로 KGC인삼공사에서도 많은 관심을 보이고 있는 스포츠다. 지난 2년간 랠리25를 통해 배드민턴 종목의 생활체육 발전 가능성을 확인했다. 홍천교육지원청과의 이번 MOU를 계기로 업무 협력은 물론이고, 그 외의 일도 협력할 수 있는 부분이 있다면 같이 공유하자"며 기대감을 나타냈다.
이에 홍천교육지원청 홍병식 교육장은 "홍천군은 다른 지역과는 달리 학생들이 배드민턴을 전문적으로 경험하기 힘들다. 학생들에게 유익한 경험이 될 수 있도록 교육지원청에서도 최선을 다하겠다" 며 긴밀한 협력을 약속했다.
KGC인삼공사와 홍천교육지원청의 인연은 1년 전부터 시작됐다. 2018년 6월 랠리25의 대표 서비스인 ‘KGC인삼공사 배드민턴 선수단이 간다’에 홍천 소재 배드민턴 클럽이 선정되었고, 당시 홍천 지역의 학교 체육 배드민턴 확대를 위한 방안을 모색하던 홍천교육지원청 정규태 장학사가 선수단 방문에 적극적인 관심을 보였다. 이는 랠리25의 목표인 배드민턴 생활 체육의 활성화와 부합하며 KGC인삼공사와 홍천교육지원청이 손을 잡았다.
홍천교육지원청의 2019년 개방형 방과 후 스포츠 활동 배드민턴 프로그램은 학생, 학부모, 지역 주민이 모두 참여하는 배드민턴 축제로 진행된다. 오는 8월 8일 목요일 오후 7시에 열리는 첫 번째 배드민턴 아카데미를 시작으로 12월까지 월 1회 진행된다. 이번 프로그램은 KGC인삼공사 배드민턴단이 일일 선생님으로 활동할 예정이다.
랠리25(www.rally25.co.kr)는 2017년부터 KGC인삼공사가 운영 중인 배드민턴 플랫폼이다. 뉴스 및 용품 정보 등 온라인 서비스 제공과 함께 동호인 대회 개최, 랠리코트, 배드민턴 청소년 아카데미, 선수단이 간다 등의 오프라인 서비스도 활발히 운영 중이다.
